Who are we at Magnetic Messenger?

Hi, and thank you for taking a few moments to check out our blog and learn a little more about who we are.  We are a small, family run company with a desire to offer our customers a stylish, trendy, and truly unique photo invitation or announcement.

It all started when we had our third boy and we spent countless hours trying to find a stylish photo birth announcement to tell the world about our special arrival.  Sure, there were tons of companies out there trying to sell us a standard ‘cardstock’ announcement, but we knew that would only end up caught in our friends and families’ junk mail pile and eventually the garbage.  We couldn’t stand to think of such a precious moment being relegated to the trash bin.

 So, we thought…where do people display most of their special photos.  YES, on the fridge.  At that point, we knew we had to have a magnet and we were sure we could find a company to provide us with an easy ordering process and a unique product to announce our baby in style.  But the more we looked, the more we were disappointed.  We saw birth announcement magnets that were the typical flimsy business card size magnets with very cheesy artwork.  We saw magnetic birth announcements that cost $3 and $4 a piece and, frankly, weren’t anything special.

Our search ended in frustration, but we were determined to find a magnetic baby announcement that worked!  Well, that’s when the idea hit us.  Why can’t we invent a new product that takes the best of both worlds: a digitally printed cardstock baby announcement and a magnetic strip that can be married to the card?

Well, that’s where the idea was born and when we sent out Noah’s birth announcement, we were overjoyed when every house we visited had Noah’s precious announcement front and center on the fridge.  Since that day we have designed 100’s of new invitations and announcements and most of our business has come from people sharing their wonderful experiences with others.
