How do the magnetic invitations work?
A lot of people ask us how do our magnetic photo cards work. People are so used to seeing those flimsy business card style magnets and think that they have to settle for a low quality, 2″ x 3″ magnet for their event. That’s where we come in.
First of all, every one of our 1st birthday invitations, save the date magnets, photo birth announcements, baby shower invitations, and bridal shower invitations are hand designed by an actual artist. We color correct, enhance, and crop each photo by hand to make sure that the quality of your special invitation is the best it can be.
We then use a very high quality 100# announcement cardstock and use a high end digital printing process to print each and every card. Our production team sometimes runs an individual order through the press 3 times, making necessary adjustments, to make sure the quality is the best we can get.
After the photo cards are printed, they are then run through a process which laminates a 1 inch magnetic strip to the top back of each card. The magnetic strips are specially desined to be extremely thin, yet have a lot of magnetic holding power. These special strips allow our photo cards to be displayed on the fridge, file cabinet, school locker, in a photo album, frame, or scrapbook. In fact, there are no other photo announcements in the world currently like ours.
Visit our testimonials page and listen to what our customers have said, unsolicited, about us. It is our extreme desire that your experience with us will be one that will make the announcing of your special event a memorable one!
