What size are your magnetic invitations and announcements?

All of our magnetic invitations measure a full 3.75" x 5.75" postcard size! (The largest size available on the web today!)

How is your product different than other magnet companies ?

Other magnet companies use the older style thin "floppy" magnet material. So basically what you're getting is a very thin adhesive label printed with your image and then stuck to thin magnet material that is now sourced from China. The print quality on these "floppy" style magnets is not a professional quality product. These photo magnets are more "novelty" as opposed to professional looking.

In contrast, our product, combines the modern look and feel of a professionally printed invitation on high resolution cardstock with the power of a magnet using our unique magnetic striping process. Similar to how the back of your credit card has a magnetic stripe on the back, our invitations and announcements have our proprietary magnetic striping embedded into the invitation which allow your magnetic invitation to be displayed directly on the fridge. The result is a beautiful, pro-style invitation that people can archive and scrapbook when they're done displaying it on their fridge.

Do you use magnetic materials from China like most companies?

Absolutely not! All of our papers and magnetic materials are produced right here in the United States. We won't sacrifice quality by sourcing our materials overseas and we want to support families working in the US.

How do I know if my photo is high resolution?

Find the file on your computer and then RIGHT CLICK on it. Then select PROPERTIES and it will tell you how large the file is. Any files between 250k and 5MB should be fine. *****NOTE: When attaching your photo to an email, make sure and select ATTACH FILE and not ATTACH PHOTO. Most email programs will shrink the photo down unless you select ATTACH FILE. Visit our PHOTO TIPS section for more help in this area.

Will I get a proof before you send my order to production?

If you use our online designer to create your own magnetic invitation design, then you will be given a chance to approve your design right there. If you choose to have one of our artists create the design for you, then you will receive an electronic proof of your magnetic announcement to your email address for your approval within 1 business day or less.

Can I change any of the wording on your existing designs?

Yes. You can change any of the wording to whatever you want. If you have any special instructions for our artists, just indicate them in the COMMENTS section at checkout.

Can I write on the back of these magnetic invitations?

Yes. What makes our announcements so unique is that only the top area of the magnetic announcement is magnetic. That gives you the entire middle area of the announcement to write a personal note to your recipients. Other magnetic birth announcements and save the date magnets use a thick, bulky magnet across the entire back of the announcement and you cannot add a personal note.

Do envelopes come with my order?

Yes. Envelopes are included with every order.

Can I order my magnetic birth announcements in advance?

Yes. Simply log onto www.MagneticMessenger.com and place your order. At checkout, you will see a COMMENTS section where you can indicate that you will send your baby's photo and statistics when he/she arrives. We will then place your order in our Pending file and move it to processing when we receive your information.

I have an idea for a birth announcement magnet design, save the date magnet, or photo birthday invitation and I'm wondering if I could order it through Magnetic Messenger?

Absolutely. We can design your custom announcement using combinations of our different designs or invitation to your liking. If you order at least 100 magnetic announcements, this service is FREE. If you order less than 100, there may be a small design fee. Just send an email to art@magneticmessenger.com with any ideas or suggestions.

What if I place my order, receive the custom design proof from you, and then decide I want to cancel my order for some reason?

If you decide to cancel your order after we've completed your proof, there will be a $20 design fee charged, and the balance of the order amount will be refunded. This protects us from people using our artists for their design work and then taking our work and having it printed at the local photo lab or taking our work to another designer. Since we offer custom printed products, after your order ships, returns are not allowed. All sales are final.
